A woman reaches under a block from the apartheid wall trying to hold the hand of her mother on the other side. Many families have become segregated after the Israeli occupation regime completed the construction of the wall which runs through Palestinian lands. This is just one of thousands of cases.

Spoken Word - Domestic Violence

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The strong man is not the one who can throw another down. The strong man is the one who can keep hold of himself when he is angry.”

Pharrell - Happy British Muslims! #HAPPYDAY

awww i really liked this

i watched this earlier and was gonna post it but now that i see it on my dash, i’ll reblog it.

i also see that they removed the comments, and tbh it’s smart that they did…cause they were getting a lot of hate.

surprisingly enough (or unsurprisingly to many muslims), most of the hate was from other muslims who said this wasn’t holy and were literally saying that what these people were doing was satanic (i know all you non muslims are probably like wtf…me too…me too)

my favorite reply was this one dude who said, “ya’ll lying if you think the prophet and his sahaba wouldn’t be involved in a video like this showing a message like this. they’d be right in there having a good time.”

but “religious” muslims get angry by the strangest things, and i put religious in quotations cause i dont consider them religious but i know they consider themselves religious

you’d think they’d be more infuriated at the muslim community’s indifference to reverts and racism and to the poor and to somalia who has muslims literally dying of hunger due to government unrest and burma’s genocide of muslims and like protest and comment on their country’s facebook page demanding something be done and idk send their politicians to talk to the burmese officials but literally no…this is what they get mad about it, this is what they spend their energy on - leaving hate on a video spreading happiness and commenting on hijabi entrepreneurs’ instagram pages condemning them to hell like no boo

if you’re lucky enough to have access to internet and want to use it to spread rage - please go on your elected official’s facebook or twitter and tell them it’s ridiculous that there is a genocide literally happening in burma and no one is doing anything about it. like please use your rage for a good cause and get ajir like please.

67:13 Quran

Gahhh. so my coffee spilled in my NEW car. all over the cushion and the carpet. Tried soaking it up with a wet towel then patting it dry with a dry one. HOPEFULLY it will not stain. but what was more annoying is NOT the actual spill but all the things that ensues that amplifies your anger at said catastrophe. Number 1. the spillage continues to other things. i.e. the cushion where somebody accidentally put not knowing there was a spill in the bag. 2. getting coffee drips everywhere in the house. 3. your maid can be completely useless in this matter. 4. asks maid to clean the cushion in panic. 4. maid also tries to redeem herself by telling me pointless crap like she was not the person who put the spilled bag on the cushion. (she still needs to clean it anyway!) and lastly, 5. getting told off for accident and suggests a gazillion reasons for avoiding spillage in the first place. (AFTER ACCIDENT, WHICH I ALREADY WOULD KNOW FROM CURRENT SPILLAGE). GAHHHH.

The dunya is not the resting place, it is the testing place.
